Front End Web Developer (Contract to Hire)

The position of Front End Web Developer is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to showcase their programming and problem solving skills through the production and development of branded Web and Internet marketing for a variety of businesses and industries. Exceptional HTML, CSS and Flash skills, as well as expert knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and MySQL are a must. Solid analytics, SEO and PPC construction, analysis and reporting experience is a BIG plus. The ability to adapt quickly and multitask will be the keys to success for this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5+ years agency, corporate or subcontractor experience as a front end Web developer
• Exceptional HTML, CSS and Flash skills
• Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages including PHP, JavaScript and SQL (.NET a plus)
• Solid experience programming a variety of databases including MySQL and SQL server, among others
• Demonstrated experience creating customized CMS Web solutions using Expression Engine, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.
• Experience working with a variety of server technologies including Linux, Unix and Windows IIS
• Superior working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Complete proficiency in Internet related applications such as e-mail, FTP clients and Web browsers (specifically, resolving cross-browser compatibility issues)
• Experience using e-mail marketing applications (ExactTarget, ConstantContact, EmailLabs, Vtrenz)
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook (including transitioning graphics into these programs)
• Experience working with DNS, multiple domains (redirecting) and hosting accounts
• Project and client management experience
• Willingness to learn and adopt Synergy’s business processes
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience

Possible assignments include...
* Build new pages for the Yum’s internal and external web sites.
* Assist in the production of Yum’s product / brand video projects.
* Offer input and assistance with new design ideas for the site and emails.
* Assist with updating information on the sites.
* Potentially add interactive features, videos, sounds and other features to the site.
